Meet the Doctor at Cherry Creek Oral Surgery and Dental Implants

Oral Surgeon in Denver

Dr. Clyde Waggoner

Dr. Clyde Waggoner learned the value of ethics and hard work as a child who grew up in eastern Kentucky. He put himself through college and dental school, completing his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Louisville, University Hospital in Kentucky.

Dr. Waggoner came to Denver in 1996 and never looked back. He has completed seven Ironman triathlons (including Hawaii) and a 100-mile ultra-run in the Sonora desert.

He is a travel and scuba enthusiast as well and has traveled to 54 countries and logged over 450 dives. He also was a marshal in the Tour de France in 2007!

Recently elected to the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Parliamentarians, past president of the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and recently elected Speaker of the House for the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dr. Waggoner also enjoys giving back to both the local and global community by focusing on the things he loves. Traveling to the Philippines multiple times to perform cleft lip and cleft palate mission work was truly a labor of love for him.

Dr. Waggoner is the proud father of two beautiful daughters and doting grandfather to one granddaughter, Addie!

Today, Dr. Waggoner focuses professionally on what he loves most: dentoalveolar surgery, including dental implants, bone grafts, third molar extractions, maxillary sinus augmentations and pathology.
